Life : The Goal

When college is over and the rest of my life is ahead of me, where do I want to go?

Art is my life.  I love drawing, painting, crocheting, designing, and just about anything else that can be labeled as art.
There's a silly old catch phrase that says "My drawing hand is attached to my lungs. When I stop drawing, I stop breathing" and it's basically true for me.
I never thought that this would be what helped me find my career.

I want to be an animator.

I know I'm not the best artist and I know that there are millions of other aspiring animators that are probably way better artists than me but that's what I wanna do.  I want my name to become famous in animation.  I want my name to be remembered as one of the greatest animators.  I want people to love my characters as much as they love Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny.  I want to be part of a team that creates an animated film that wins both the Academy Award for Best Animated Film and Best Picture.

But now, I'm done wanting.

I'm going to do it.

There have been a lot of people that told me I wouldn't be able to do it.  They told me that I wouldn't be able to make it and that I would just end up disappointing myself by aiming for something so far away.
I say bring it on.

This is my dream.

And I'm not going to let anyone bring me down.
