Making a "chess set" in my 3D modeling class ended up being kinda fun.
Our assignment was to make a chessboard and then put pawns and other objects in the scene just for kicks and giggles. Then we had to like texture and light the whole scene etc.
Here's what my "rough draft" looked like;
This was originally my final image, but after I got to class I realized that my camera angle sucked, and there's several lighting issues and such. I'll add my actual final in a few days after I get the file haha.
Seriously, making glass is the funnest thing ever. It's like making magic.
Yeah, I'm glad I stayed in this class. It's been awesome so far!
